Help inside the app

LocalScribe has a full Help section built in: open Settings → Help. It covers recording, summaries, references, speaker labels, exporting, iCloud sync, and the Apple Watch remote — and includes an on-device assistant that answers questions about the app.

Common questions

• Does my audio leave my device? No. Recording and transcription always run on-device, on every tier.
• What does Premium add? Unlimited recordings and ChatGPT-quality summaries. Only transcript text — never audio — is sent for a Premium summary. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Why won’t a recording start? Check that LocalScribe has microphone permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
• My recordings aren’t syncing. Make sure iCloud is on for LocalScribe (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud) and that all devices use the same Apple ID.
